American Moment hosted our inaugural Gala for American Statecraft on Wednesday in Washington, DC. Over 250 of our supporters, allies, lecturers, program alumni, and network members all convened for the first time to celebrate three years of the organization’s existence, and launch us toward another year of success.
The evening kicked off with a VIP reception featuring a welcome by former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows, followed by dinner and a keynote address by Senator J.D. Vance. Following this, Saurabh presented the inaugural “Third Rail Award” to David Sacks, partner and co-founder of Craft Ventures, who delivered a bold and heterodox speech on why Washington’s foreign policy blob has failed and how the Ukraine conflict has empowered the deep state while harming American interests.
